From Wherever We Had Wi-Fi to Downtown Brooklyn
Clarkes.Team puts down roots at 41 Flatbush Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn—a new home for collaboration, client support, and growth.
Steven Clarke
Clarkes.Team
Our new headquarters at 41 Flatbush Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn marks the next chapter for Clarkes.Team.
Clarkes.Team was built remotely, one client and one challenge at a time. Now we’re putting down roots and building the headquarters for our next chapter.

A blank canvas for the next chapter of Clarkes.Team.
I’m writing this from inside the new Clarkes.Team headquarters on Flatbush Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn.
The office is officially open, although it doesn’t look like much yet. There are empty desks, chairs, file cabinets, and plenty of unused space.
It feels bare. But it doesn’t feel empty.
It feels like possibility.
For the first time since I founded Clarkes.Team in 2019, the company has a permanent home outside of my own. This office is a blank canvas. We will turn it into a place for collaboration, training, problem-solving, and building the local team that will carry us into our next stage of growth.

The door is open to our next chapter.
Why I built Clarkes.Team
I founded Clarkes.Team while transitioning out of co-ownership of another managed service provider.
By then, I had spent years freelancing, earning five-star reviews, and building relationships with clients who continued to refer me to others. But I didn’t want to remain an individual freelancer forever.
I wanted to build a team of talented, like-minded people who could support a wider range of clients and solve bigger problems together.
Technology makes the unimaginable possible, but it often feels out of reach for small and midsize businesses. Owners don’t know what they don’t know. More importantly, they don’t always know who they can trust to guide them.
I wanted to be a face they could trust.
Clarkes.Team was created to translate complicated technology into something clear, practical, and useful. Whether the issue is infrastructure, automation, security, a website, or a business-critical application, our job is to remove the confusion and help clients move forward with confidence.
That mission hasn’t changed.

Inside our new Downtown Brooklyn home.
A company built from anywhere
Since 2019, family needs have taken me from New Jersey to Boston, from Boston to New York, back to New Jersey, and now home again to New York.
Clarkes.Team came with me every time.
I worked from home offices, libraries, cafes, borrowed spaces, and sometimes the back seat of my car. Wherever I had secure internet, our company VPN, my laptop, and my phone, I was connected to my team and our clients.
We kept moving. We kept solving problems. We kept growing.
Our remote team grew across New York, Toronto, Nigeria, London, and Manila. We used collaboration tools, automation, and well-built business systems to stay connected. These are the same kinds of technologies we use to help our clients grow.
That team’s dedication, loyalty, and willingness to keep learning have helped Clarkes.Team achieve strong year-over-year growth.
Our clients’ best-kept secret
Word of mouth has always been our primary source of growth. There is no stronger recommendation than a client trusting you enough to put your name in front of another business owner.
But it has also made us our clients’ best-kept secret.
We are often the people behind the software, infrastructure upgrade, emergency repair, or migration that helped a business reach its next level. We do the work, keep things moving, and make our clients look good. That is exactly how it should be.
Now it is time to introduce ourselves a little more loudly.
The words in our client testimonials vary, but the message is consistent: responsive, knowledgeable, calm, trustworthy, and there when things get difficult.
One client put it simply: “Steven has your back.”
That is what I want every Clarkes.Team client to feel.
When a client has a problem, we don’t treat it like another ticket in a queue. We treat it like our problem. Their success is our success, and we take ownership of their pain points.
That kind of support shouldn’t remain a secret.
Coming home to New York
I was born and raised in New York. This is home, and it feels good to be back and here to stay.

Our new home in Downtown Brooklyn.
I also needed a real boundary between the place where I live and the place where I lead a growing company. After years of working from small rooms and temporary spaces, it was time to get outside, see people, touch grass, breathe some air, and get inspired again.
The timing matters for our industry, too.
Artificial intelligence is reshaping nearly every sector. I believe businesses need to adopt it or get left behind. We use AI to strengthen our services, and we help clients find practical ways to use it in their businesses.
But AI does not replace experience, judgment, or accountability. Powerful tools still require knowledgeable people and trusted guidance.
To provide that guidance at a larger scale, Clarkes.Team must be visible, accessible, and easier to find. We want businesses to discover us not only through referrals, but also on Google Maps and in the communities we serve.
A hub for our next stage of growth
Our Downtown Brooklyn headquarters will be the hub for our next stage of growth.
Our remote team will continue supporting businesses around the clock. The office isn’t a rejection of remote work. It is a center that will make the entire team stronger.
Working together in person will help us improve the speed and quality of our support, learn from one another, expand the technologies we cover, and train new team members.
Slack and Zoom get the job done, but nothing replaces human-to-human interaction and the trust built across a table.
The office also gives local clients a place to meet with us by appointment, review their current systems, and plan what comes next.

One of our first additions will be a command-center display showing support escalations, goals, performance metrics, and the servers and websites requiring our attention.
Today, the desks are mostly empty. Eventually, I want this office full of people learning, collaborating, and solving problems. I want us to reach the point where we are bursting at the seams and ready for a bigger space.
In unity there is strength
Brooklyn’s historic motto is Een Draght Mackt Maght: “In unity there is strength.”
That idea is at the heart of what we are building.

Putting down roots at 41 Flatbush Avenue.
Biggie gave us the more modern Brooklyn version: “Spread love, it’s the Brooklyn way.”
For Clarkes.Team, spreading that love means making powerful technology, stronger security, automation, AI, and expert guidance accessible to businesses that may not have an enterprise budget or internal technology department.
It also means creating opportunities for growth-minded people in Brooklyn and throughout New York. We want people who care about clients, advocate for them, and want to grow alongside the company they are helping to build.
We’ll share those opportunities through our careers page as the headquarters takes shape.
The possibilities ahead
When I stand on the rooftop and look across Brooklyn, the view feels endless.
So do the possibilities.

Looking across Brooklyn, the possibilities feel endless.
To the clients who trusted us when Clarkes.Team was operating from homes, cars, libraries, and remote workspaces around the world: thank you. You helped us get here.
We’ve put down roots in Downtown Brooklyn.
Now it is time to build.
