Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 17, 2026
1 Introduction
Clarkes.Team ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website and services.
2 Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Contact information: Name, email address, phone number
- Account information: Username, password (encrypted)
- Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe; we do not store card numbers
- Business information: Company name, website, technical details about your infrastructure
- Communications: Messages, support requests, and other correspondence
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: Pages visited, time spent, actions taken
- Device information: Browser type, operating system, IP address
- Interaction and session replay data: Mouse movement, clicks, taps, scrolling, and page errors, recorded on public pages and order forms. See Analytics and Session Recording
- Cookies and similar technologies: See our cookie policy below
2.3 Information From Service Delivery
When providing web services, we may access your systems, servers, and data as necessary to perform the requested work. This access is governed by our service agreements and confidentiality obligations.
3 How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve our services
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Communicate with you about your services
- Send relevant updates and marketing (with your consent)
- Analyze website usage to improve user experience
- Diagnose usability problems and broken pages using heatmaps and session replay
- Comply with legal obligations
- Protect against fraud and abuse
5 Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures including:
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest
- Access controls and authentication
- Regular security assessments
- Employee training and confidentiality agreements
- Secure data centers with physical security
No system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but take reasonable steps to protect your data.
6 Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with legal obligations, or to resolve disputes. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
Analytics and session replay data is held on Microsoft's servers on a shorter schedule that we cannot extend: session playback data is deleted after 30 days, and aggregated click and heatmap data — along with any individual session we flag for follow-up — is deleted after 9 months. Deletion covers Microsoft's backups and is not recoverable.
7 Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
Request a copy of your personal data
Update inaccurate or incomplete data
Request erasure of your data
Receive data in machine-readable format
To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@clarkes.team. We will respond within 30 days.
9 Analytics and Session Recording
We use analytics and session replay technology to understand how visitors move through this website, so we can find the pages that confuse people and the forms that fail them. This section explains who processes that data, where we record, and what we deliberately do not capture.
9.1 Microsoft Clarity
We partner with Microsoft Clarity to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay, in order to improve our products and services. Website usage data is captured using first-party and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of our services and your online activity. We also use this information for site optimization and for fraud and security purposes. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Microsoft Corporation is the processor for this activity and acts on our instructions. A session replay is a reconstruction of the pages you were shown and the actions you took on them — mouse movement, clicks, taps, scrolling, and page errors. It is not a video of your screen or your camera, and it captures nothing outside this website.
9.2 Where We Record
Session recording runs on our public-facing marketing pages and on our order and checkout forms. It is switched off everywhere you would reasonably expect privacy:
- The client portal: No recording on any authenticated client area
- Support requests: No recording on our support ticket form, which routinely carries confidential detail about your systems
- Password-protected pages: No recording on client presentations or any other gated content
9.3 What Is Never Captured
Even on pages where recording is active, the following is masked in your browser before anything is transmitted. Masked content is never uploaded to Microsoft and is never visible to us in a replay:
- Anything you type into a form field: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, company details, and message bodies are all masked
- Dropdown selections: The option you choose is masked in every recording mode
- Payment card details: Card fields are hosted by Stripe in a separate secure frame that no analytics tool on our site can read
- Passwords: Never recorded, on any page, in any circumstance
9.4 Your Choices
You can prevent session recording at any time:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or browse in a private window
- Use your browser's tracking protection, or any content blocker that blocks clarity.ms
- Object to this processing, or ask us to delete recordings associated with your visit, by emailing privacy@clarkes.team
Blocking analytics has no effect on your ability to use this website, place an order, or receive support.
10 Third-Party Services
We rely on the following third parties to operate this website. Each processes data on our behalf, under contract, and only for the purposes we specify:
- Microsoft Clarity: Session replay and heatmaps — privacy statement
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager: Aggregate website measurement — privacy policy
- Stripe: Payment processing — privacy policy
Our website may also contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies.
11 Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us.
12 International Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers, including standard contractual clauses where required.
In particular, the analytics and session replay data described in section 9 is processed by Microsoft, and our aggregate measurement data by Google, on infrastructure that includes servers in the United States. Both operate under their own published transfer safeguards, linked in section 10.
13 Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or website notice. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
