WordPress support, maintenance, and hosting

  • We support it
  • We run it for clients
  • We build with it

WordPress runs a huge share of the web, which is why so many of the calls we get start with it. We fix what’s broken, keep sites updated and backed up, clean up compromised installs, and take the whole maintenance job off your plate if you’d rather not think about it.

The relationship

How we work with WordPress

  • Support

    We support it

Broken pages, plugin conflicts, white screens, failed updates and slow admin screens: we find the cause and fix it, then tell you what happened in plain English.

  • Managed

    We run it for clients

Our WordPress maintenance plans cover core, theme and plugin updates, backups, uptime and security monitoring, and a person to call when something changes.

  • Build

    We build with it

We build and rebuild WordPress sites for businesses that need them to work hard: fast, secure, easy to edit, and set up so they stay that way.

WordPress problems we fix

You don’t need to know the technical name for it. Tell us what’s happening, and we’ll work out what needs attention.

  1. “The site is slow, especially the admin area.”

We profile the theme, plugins and hosting to find where the time goes, then fix the real bottleneck instead of adding another caching plugin.

  2. “An update broke something.”

We roll back safely, find the conflicting plugin or theme change, and get the update applied without the breakage.

  3. “It’s been hacked, or Google says it has.”

We clean the install, close the door it came in through, rotate credentials, and handle the blocklist reviews so visitors stop seeing warnings.

  4. “The host blames the site and the developer blames the host.”

We look at both. WordPress problems often sit between PHP settings, the database and the server, and we work on all three.

  5. “Nobody’s updated it in a year and I’m nervous about touching it.”

We take a full backup, run the updates on a staging copy first, and bring it current in a controlled way.

  6. “Nobody owns the website any more.”

A maintenance plan gives it an owner: someone who watches it, updates it, and answers when you ask.

Questions we get

WordPress, answered plainly

Do you work with sites built by someone else?

Yes. Most of the WordPress sites we look after were built by another agency or freelancer. We start by taking a backup and reading how it was put together, then we’re honest about what’s worth keeping.

Can you host our WordPress site?

Our WordPress maintenance plans include managed hosting on infrastructure we run, or we can manage a site where it already lives. Either way, updates, backups and monitoring are covered.

Our site was hacked. How quickly can you help?

Tell us what you’re seeing through the form and we’ll get back to you about next steps. Cleanups begin with a forensic copy of the site, so nothing we do can make things worse than they are.

Do you build WooCommerce stores?

Yes. WooCommerce sits on top of WordPress, and we support and build stores on it. The WooCommerce page covers the specifics.
