Zapier
Zapier consulting, builds and clean-ups
- We support it
- We build with it
Zapier is the right answer more often than people building custom software like to admit. We build Zaps that keep working, clean up the ones that do not, and tell you honestly when a workflow has outgrown what the platform can do reliably.
The relationship
How we work with Zapier
- Support
We support it
We inherit accounts nobody has audited, find the Zaps that are costing money or quietly doing nothing, and get the whole thing back under control.
- Build
We build with it
We design and build the Zaps, including the parts that are easy to skip: error handling, the duplicate that arrives twice, and what should happen when a step fails at two in the morning.

Zapier problems we fix
You don’t need to know the technical name for it. Tell us what’s happening, and we’ll work out what needs attention.
-
“A Zap turned itself off and nobody noticed.”
Zapier pauses a Zap after repeated errors and the email goes to whoever built it, who has often left. We fix the underlying error, and put alerting somewhere a person will actually see it.
-
“The task count keeps climbing and nobody can say why.”
Usually a trigger firing far more than anybody intended, or filters sitting after an expensive step instead of before it. We audit what is consuming tasks and restructure the worst offenders.
-
“Records are arriving twice, or not at all.”
Duplicates and silent drops almost always come from a trigger that re-fires or a filter doing something subtly different from what was intended. We make the workflow idempotent so running it twice is harmless.
-
“Zapier has no integration for the system you need.”
We build the missing piece as a webhook or an API step, so the rest of the automation can stay in Zapier rather than being rewritten around one gap.
-
“The Zap has grown into something nobody dares touch.”
Twenty-step Zaps with paths inside paths are where this platform stops being the right tool. We will tell you when that line has been crossed, and what moving it would involve.
-
“Nobody knows what is running in the account any more.”
We document every live Zap, what it touches and who owns it, and turn off the ones that have been quietly running against a system that no longer exists.

Questions we get
Zapier, answered plainly
Is Zapier the right tool, or should this be custom?
Zapier is the right tool more often than not, and we will say so even though it is the smaller piece of work for us. It stops being right when a workflow needs real judgement at a step, when the volume makes per-task pricing absurd, or when a failure has to be handled rather than retried forever. Those are the three lines, and we will tell you when you are near one.
Can you work inside our existing Zapier account?
Yes, and it is usually better than building in ours: the Zaps stay yours, the task quota is yours, and nothing has to be migrated later. Where you would rather we built in ours first and handed it over, that works too.
Our Zaps were built by someone who has left. Can you take them over?
That is a normal engagement. We audit what is live, document what each one does and what it touches, fix what is broken and turn off what is pointless — accounts that have run unattended for a year usually have at least one Zap firing into a system nobody uses any more.
Can you keep an eye on them afterwards?
Yes, as a monthly arrangement. Zapier will email the owner when it pauses a Zap, which is no use when the owner has left or the mail goes to a shared inbox nobody reads. Ongoing cover means somebody is watching the automations rather than finding out a fortnight later.

Got a Zapier headache?
Tell us what’s giving you trouble, or what you’d like to stop managing yourself. You don’t need a technical brief. A few sentences is a good place to start.
Thanks for reaching out.
